Description
The Virtual ATP consultation is an opportunity for the ATP and consumer to discuss and analyze the expectation of individuals with mobility related needs. They will assist in the selection of appropriate equipment and help the consumer on how to properly and successfully use the specialty products.
ATPs stay updated with information on state-of-the-art rehab technology and educate themselves to help consumers find the products that will help you reach your individual goals for mobility.

Let our professionals steer you in the right direction and be a sounding board for you to make the most informed decisions.

Size Chart / measuring guide
A-Seat DepthMeasure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg.B-Back HeightMeasured from the seat base to the top of the chair back. Power wheelchair riders need upper back support, particularly for the moment of initial acceleration.C-Hanger AngleDetermines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the electric power wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular.D-Seat WidthDetermined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant.E-Front Seat to FloorMeasure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Electric power wheelchairs are almost never footpropelled by the user - so excluding the additional two-inch footrest height for propelling is very rare.

Purchasing and Consultation Support
I have recently been told that my spinal & nerve damage. This came after 17 surgeries over a period of 4 years. In fact I was pretty happy in 2025 because I did not hear my doctor say Chuck, I’m sorry but we need to go in there again & work on something else, that is until November when the doctor sat my wife & I down & said “Chuck” I am so, sorry but we have nothing left to do or try, your condition is at the permanent stage & you will be confined to a wheelchair when out for any length of time. However, if you are going to be up a short time you can use a walker. Well I thought oh God I’m going to be in an ugly wheelchair & I was feeling awful. Until I got to speaking with my consultant Troy. Troy went through the entire chair explaining what this or that was for & the bottom line is that Troy actually became a fine friend and lifted my spirits as he worked with me to design my chair. Now I’m super excited and can’t wait to get my chair. So Troy thank you very much, very much for helping me & for teaching me so much about my chair. Sincerely, Chuck.
