    POWER IN EVERY DIRECTION
Twist redefines power-assist mobility—not simply to go farther, but as a system that understands how you want to move. By blending natural user input with precision-engineered assistance, Twist delivers a power experience unlike anything else. Whether mounted in the front or rear, it unlocks a new standard of versatility, confidence, and control—making it the first compact, multi-function power assist accessory built to move with you, not just for you.

    VERSATILITY THAT CHANGES YOUR WORLD
Twist transitions between rear (push) and front (pull) configurations entirely at ground level—no lifting required. The rear position offers compact, low-speed maneuverability for indoor settings. Front positions increase ground clearance, enable consistent downhill speed control, and introduce motor braking for stopping via the side button on the Multi-Function Controller (comes standard). An optional foldable handlebar adds steering stability, increases speed capacity to 9 mph, and integrates a mechanical disc brake. Simply move Twist from rear to front and attach the optional handlebar.* As a power assist accessory (E0986), Twist promotes the reduction of stress and fatigue on your body and shoulders.

    PRECISION IN TIGHT SPACES
When rear mounted, Twist is a compact package. Ideal for offices, restaurants, public transportation, schools, and in-home. Smart Speed Behavior enhances the ride experience. Simply set a desired speed, and Twist responds with the power to match. When resistance is applied at the rims—whether to steer, slow, or stop—Twist reduces motor output. As that resistance eases, the system re-accelerates smoothly back to the set speed. Acceleration, top speed, and motor sensitivity are fully programmable.

    FRONT MOUNT VERSATILITY
Twist can switch between pushing from the back and pulling from the front—no lifting required. Engineered for outdoor performance, the front setup lifts the casters off the ground, delivering a smooth, stable ride—giving you the freedom to take on distance, terrain and improve obstacle clearance. For easier steering, going longer distances, and a mechanical disk brake for strong safe stops, add the optional foldable handlebar to your Twist.

    SPEED CONTROL: UP AND DOWN
When going up an incline, Climb Assist Mode provides consistent drive experience, easily re-engage adaptive speed behavior with a single button tap on the Multi-Function Controller.

    FOLD, STOW AND GO
Innovation that creates everyday ease is what you will experience with Twist’s ingeniously designed Folding Handlebar. Engineered for real-world convenience, it attaches effortlessly, folds down in seconds, and stows neatly—no tools, no hassle. Lightweight yet durable, the handlebar enhances control and maneuverability on longer rides or varied terrain. When not in use, the handlebar fits easily into the carry bag – making it the perfect travel companion for riders on the go.

    EFFORTLESS AND RELIABLE CONNECTION
Twist connects to all types of manual wheelchairs, both rigid and folding, using the patented Linking System Klaxon®. The innovative, high-quality design of the linking system provides easy front and rear attachment. The audible latch acknowledgement ensures you know when you are ready to go.

CONTROL AT YOUR FINGERTIPS Whether as rider or cargiver, control is right in front of you

    BLUETOOTH CARGIVER CONTROL

Attendant Controller offers toolless mounting and a user-friendly design: a simple push on the accelerator activates the motor, and releasing instantly stops the motor thrust for a natural decrease in speed. A great addition to your Twist for full or part-time caregiver assistance. Easily define and differentiate Caregiver control settings int the Klaxon app.

    BLUETOOTH CONTROLLER

Twist's Multi-Function Controller features a natural-motion toggle: forward to accelerate, backward to slow or stop. Power modulation scales motor output in real time based on resistance at the rims, enabling natural steering and braking. All performance parameters - including acceleration, top speed, and responsiveness - are programmable to match individual needs. Climb Assist Mode provides steady, uninterrupted propulsion for inclines and ramps, reverting to  adaptive control with a single tap. LED display and audible feedback enhancements create an informed and intuitive experience.

SMART, PERSONALIZED CONTROL - KLAXON® APP
The Klaxon app puts customization at your fingertips—offering intuitive control over speed, braking, and power settings. View real-time usage stats, monitor battery performance, and fine-tune the driving experience to match personal preferences, abilities, or environmental needs.
For added convenience, Twist can be pre-programmed prior to delivery—so it is ready to go out of the box, based on pre-selected settings you choose at time of quote or order.

  • Size Chart / measuring guide
    manual-size-chart
    manual-size-chart
    manual-size-chart
    A-
    Seat Depth
Measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg.
    B-
    Back Height
Measured from the seat base to the top of the wheelchair back. Depends on how much upper back support is needed, and also affects freedom for the upper body to rotate.
    c-
    Rear Seat to Floor
Measurement from the ground to the rear seat edge. Relative to the front seat-to-floor dimension, this determines the rearward slope ("dump" or "squeeze") of the wheelchair seat.
    D-
    Hanger Angle
Determines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular
    E-
    Seat Width
Determined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant.
    F-
    Wheel Camber
Angle of the wheel relative to the vertical. More camber improves stability and agility, but also limits ability to pass through narrow spaces. A typical daily wheelchair uses three degrees of camber.
    G-
    Front Seat to Floor
Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Do not add the footrest clearance if the wheelchair will be foot-propelled.
    H-
    Footrest Width
Measure from the inside of each leg rest tubing the distance or desired distance between leg rests.
    H-
    Footrest Width
Measure from the inside of each leg rest tubing the distance or desired distance between leg rests.
    I-
    Center of Gravity
Measure from the front of the seat back post to the center of the rear axle.
    J-
    Seat to Footrest Length
Measure from the edge of the seat upholstery to the top rear of the footrest.
    K-
    Backrest Angle
Measure the angle of the back post to the floor. Ninety degrees will be perpendicular to the floor, to approximate the angle from the back post to the seat, subtract two degrees from measurement for every .5" of dump
