Merits Health P312 Dualer Power Wheelchair

The Merits Health Dualer power wheelchair has many industry-leading features such as the elevating power chair which allows the users to raise the seat up and down with the push of a button. The p312 power chair includes a 2-in-1 power base which allows the power wheelchair to be converted into a front-wheel-drive power chair if you wish. Doing so does not require a technician, you're able to quickly rotate the seat to convert your chair to front-wheel drive.

Superb maneuverability defines the Dualer, for easy access around your home. When there is simply not enough room to turn around, just rotate the seat in the opposite direction and drive back out! To change the drive wheel positioning, simply rotate the chair 180 degrees, lock it in place, and you're ready to roll. Reach upper cabinets and grocery store shelves with ease using the power elevating seat.

With a nimble, yet sturdy size this power wheelchair offered by Merits Health allows you to easily work your way around in tight spaces. The low seat height has been known to help increase stability. This is the perfect power wheelchair for both indoor and outdoor use.

  • Size Chart / measuring guide
    power
    power
    A-
    Seat Depth
Measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg.
    B-
    Back Height
Measured from the seat base to the top of the chair back. Power wheelchair riders need upper back support, particularly for the moment of initial acceleration.
    C-
    Hanger Angle
Determines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the electric power wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular.
    D-
    Seat Width
Determined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant.
    E-
    Front Seat to Floor
Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Electric power wheelchairs are almost never footpropelled by the user - so excluding the additional two-inch footrest height for propelling is very rare.
