    Permobil Original Elbow Side Supports

The Elbow Support and Armrest Side Support are adjustable supports that help prevent your arms from sliding off the side and back of the armrest, particularly during tilt and recline and while repositioning. By preventing the arms from sliding off the armrest, the Elbow Support and Armrest Side Support allow those with reduced arm function to reposition themselves independently, drive on bumpy terrain and maintain control of their wheelchair. These are the best arm supports for Permobil users because they are easy to adapt to whatever positioning you need, they fit well on chair and they work well with all of our other armrest options.

To be as active and independent as possible, you need to feel confident using all aspects of their chair, in all environments. For those with reduced arm function, performing tilt and recline maneuvers or traversing uneven terrain increases the risk that their arm may slide off the armrest. This can lead to injury and cause them to lose control of their chair. The new Elbow Supports and Armrest Side Supports keep the arm well-positioned on the armrest, thus helping to restore confidence and independence. The adjustable hardware allows the supports to easily adapt to your positioning needs. And since they’re designed for the Corpus Armrest, they fit great on chair and work well with other armrest accessories for a clean, cohesive solution.
