    Beasy “Specialty” 2100P

The name of this board says it all. Its unique design helps it fit over your toilet seat, allowing for a smooth, safe bathroom transfer.

BeasyTrans Systems is the industry leader for the highest quality, high functioning transfer systems. Our premium “No-Lift” transfer boards allow patients to safely transfer with no lifting, tugging or twisting, reducing injuries to both the patient and the caregiver.

Transferring patients or loved ones can be very difficult and dangerous if not done so properly. That makes the Beasy Transfer Board an essential tool for any caregiver or less mobile individual; making transfers significantly easier and safer.

Our Beasy premium gliding transfer boards are an amazing product that work for most transfers, however, there are some patients that have medical needs that may require a more standard option. If your client has issues with certain types of dementia or phobias of movement, a standard board may be a better option for them. The new plastic transfer boards are strong and have a longer durable life than most standard wood boards, especially in excessive heat and humidity. Beasy standard plastic transfer boards can be cleaned quickly and easily with any sanitizing cleanser.

EASY, SAFE AND SECURE transfers make these devices a first choice among caregivers and users alike. They are used to help a person easily and safely move from a wheelchair, bed, chair, sofa, commode or other sitting position while minimizing user and caregiver strain or injury.

Some models offer easy grip cutouts for extra leverage with a safe and secure grip for individuals as they slide across the board. The cutouts are large enough to accommodate even extra-large hands, while maintaining the structural integrity to hold up to 500 lbs. Each handle has been rounded for comfort.

HDPE plastic makes these boards the easiest to clean of all transfer boards. Just sanitize with your favorite non-abrasive cleanser and rinse well. No fuss or unnecessary time consumed.

    Strong and Flexible

Made from State-of-the-Art DuPont™ spun fiberglass Minlon® materials that can support up to 400 lbs., so all patients can transfer with confidence and dignity. Our Beasy team hand finishes and packages each transfer system to assure you receive the highest quality product that will last a lifetime.

    Reduce Risk of Injury

The unique design of the gliding, rotating seat allows caregivers to transfer with natural movement and no lifting. Gliding, instead of lifting patients to their destination, reduces the risk of injury to shoulder, back, leg and arm muscles to both patient and caregiver.

    Tissue Friendly

Many patients have fear of skin tears, or irritation to pressure sores with standard transfer boards. Beasy technology places the user on a safe, stable seat. As the seat glides easily across the base of the system, the weight and friction of the transfer is absorbed by the seat, not the patient’s skin and tender bones.

    Improved Independence

Once people use Beasy transfer systems, the fear of transferring starts to diminish. Realizing that the possibilities are endless, gives back the confidence to get into a car, transfer in an airplane, and just feel good about getting into the shower. Some have even returned to work.

For those who are able to be cleared by a doctor or physical therapist for independent transfers, our transfer systems can be the difference between living independently at home, or in a care community.

    Scratch Disclaimer:

Plastic Transfer boards can and will scratch when used on hard surfaces. It is important to always use the board with the bottom side down so that the bottom surface is the only one that comes in contact with other hard surfaces. This will keep the top of your transfer board smooth and safe for tender skin.

    Safe from Sliding:

To keep your transfer board from sliding when hard surface is in contact with another hard surface, you can put a towel or piece of rubber in between the surfaces. Make sure the board is very stable before any transfer is made.

  • Size Chart / measuring guide
    power
    power
    A-
    Seat Depth
Measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg.
    B-
    Back Height
Measured from the seat base to the top of the chair back. Power wheelchair riders need upper back support, particularly for the moment of initial acceleration.
    C-
    Hanger Angle
Determines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the electric power wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular.
    D-
    Seat Width
Determined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant.
    E-
    Front Seat to Floor
Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Electric power wheelchairs are almost never footpropelled by the user - so excluding the additional two-inch footrest height for propelling is very rare.
